Oh what a fun time we had this Christmas! We continued our annual tradition of cutting down our Christmas tree. This year it was Mommy's turn to pick. I immediately snagged the tallest tree on the lot! The kiddos all agreed that my choice was the best by far. Brett had the joy of cutting it down with Logan's help. 
And, though they offered to carry it back to the office, Brett insisted he carry it--it's family tradition!
North Pole Express Train Ride
To kick off the Christmas season, Brett surprised the family with North Pole Express train tickets. We piled in the van and headed for Grapevine, TX. 
We had a wonderful time on the train and then the kiddos got to make Christmas ornaments and play in an inflated train obstacle course. They had so much fun--they were in there for over an hour!
Our fireplace truly became the hearth of the home over the holidays.
Best of all was our Christmas surprise! Bear joined our family on December 26th!
